The Fort Pierce Police Department has issued an alert asking for the community’s assistance in locating a missing teenager. Authorities are searching for 15-year-old Pyper N. Waters, who was reported as a runaway earlier this weekend.
According to law enforcement officials, Waters was last seen on Friday at approximately 1:30 p.m. leaving an area near Holly Avenue in Fort Pierce. given the proximity of Fort Pierce to Vero Beach and the wider Indian River County area, residents across the Treasure Coast are being asked to remain vigilant and report any sightings immediately.
Police have provided a specific physical description to help the public identify the missing teen:
Pyper N. Waters is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black slides, and checkered pants featuring a pink, white, and light grey pattern.
