Barefoot Bay Hosts Free Barefoot by the Lake Festival 2026

Residents of Micco and the greater Indian River County area are preparing for a weekend of entertainment, dining, and community spirit as the 8th Annual Barefoot by the Lake Music, Art, and Food Festival returns. This highly anticipated local tradition is scheduled for Friday, February 13, and Saturday, February 14, 2026, offering two full days of festivities from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. at 625 Barefoot Boulevard.

This family-oriented event remains free to attend, making it an accessible option for residents across the Treasure Coast looking for outdoor recreation. The festival is set to showcase a vibrant mix of local culture, featuring approximately 75 artisan vendors displaying crafts, a wide variety of food trucks, and a continuous lineup of live musical performances.

A Celebration of Local Music

Music lovers can expect a diverse schedule of performances ranging from classic rock to dance hits. The entertainment lineup features well-known local acts familiar to frequenters of Sebastian and Vero Beach venues.

On Friday, February 13, the schedule includes:

  • 11:00 a.m. – DJ Russ Gagner: A Sebastian-based MC known for hosting karaoke at popular local spots like the Sebastian Riverfront Vape & Taphouse.
  • 1:00 p.m. – Electric Tree Frogs: Expanding their sound with keyboards and drums, this group covers classic rock hits from bands such as The Moody Blues.
  • 6:00 p.m. – Switch w/Ana: Fronted by vocalist Ana Aguiar, this Central Florida band is recognized as a premier dance party group, often seen performing at Captain Hiram’s.
  • On Saturday, February 14, the stage will feature:

  • 11:00 a.m. – DJ Russ Gagner: Returning to kick off the second day of festivities.
  • 1:00 p.m. – Greg & Brian: This Sebastian duo is celebrated for their classic rock and Top 40 covers. They are also known for their Elton John tribute act, Greggie & The Jets, which has appeared at major venues like SeaWorld Orlando.
  • 6:00 p.m. – Shovelhed: A four-piece classic hard rock cover band hailing from Vero Beach, bringing high energy to close out the evening.
  • Culinary Delights and Family Fun

    Attendees will have plenty of dining options with a robust selection of food vendors on site. Confirmed vendors include Cousins Maine Lobster, Holy Cannoli, Tastee Freez, Sweet Treats Funnel Cake, The Corn Dog Company, Bison Eatery, Hunnyz Chicken, Nick’s New England Gyros, and Barefoot Bay Food & Beverage.

    Saturday offers specific activities designed for younger attendees. From 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the “Kid’s Fun Zone” will be open, featuring face painting, fairy hair styling, the Space Coast Obstacle Course, and a giant inflatable sports challenge covering baseball, football, and basketball.
