Port St. Lucie continues to see commercial expansion along the Treasure Coast, with plans confirmed for a new shopping center that will include a McDonald’s restaurant. The development is slated for the intersection of S.W. Port St. Lucie Boulevard and S.W. Becker Road, marking another addition to the growing list of amenities in the southern part of the city.
Development Details and Timeline
According to a spokesperson for the Morgan Company, the new retail hub will occupy a 15-acre site. The land was acquired on February 13 by the Morgan Company in partnership with Casto Net Lease.
Residents can expect activity on the site to ramp up in the near future. Construction is currently anticipated to begin in the summer of 2026. If the project adheres to its current schedule, the shopping center is expected to be completed and open to the public in 2027.
Confirmed Tenants
While the project is still in the planning stages, four major businesses have already been confirmed for the new location. This mix of retail and service options aims to serve the expanding residential population in the Becker Road corridor. The confirmed tenants include:

Expanding Footprint on the Treasure Coast
The addition of this restaurant underscores the continued growth of the brand in the region. There are currently 13 McDonald’s locations operating within St. Lucie County, seven of which are located in Port St. Lucie.
In addition to the Becker Road project, the City Council has approved plans for another McDonald’s restaurant situated at 10180 S. U.S. 1, at the intersection of Southeast Jennings Road. These developments highlight the ongoing commercial investment flowing into the Treasure Coast region as the population increases.
