Treasure Coast residents have a new culinary destination to look forward to, as the popular Florida chain Jeff’s Bagel Run prepares to open its very first location in the region. Situated in Port St. Lucie at the Gatlin Pointe Shopping Center Harbor Village, the new bakery promises to deliver freshly mixed, boiled, and baked bagels throughout the day.
Located at 1214 S.W. Gatlin Blvd., the shop brings a heartwarming pandemic-era success story to the Treasure Coast. Founders Jeff and Danielle Perera initially launched the business by making personal, door-to-door bagel deliveries during the height of the pandemic. Their grassroots effort eventually expanded to local markets and events before culminating in their first brick-and-mortar storefront in Ocoee, Florida, in June 2021.
The highly anticipated arrival of Jeff’s Bagel Run on the Treasure Coast features a soft opening on March 26, where every customer will receive a complimentary bagel and spread, followed by an official grand opening on March 27.
For the grand opening on March 27, doors will unlock for early birds at 6:30 a.m., with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 9:00 a.m. The company is encouraging patrons to download their mobile app prior to the event, which will grant attendees a chance to spin a prize wheel to win free bagels, hats, mugs, and other merchandise.
Because the bagels are prepared in-house continually throughout the day, customers are guaranteed a fresh bite regardless of whether they arrive at sunrise or simply want an afternoon snack. The extensive daily menu will feature:
- A wide variety of bagels: Traditional favorites like plain, everything, and sesame are offered alongside specialty flavors such as asiago everything, cacio e pepe, rosemary salt, and jalapeno cheddar.
- Creative spreads: Options range from savory roasted jalapeno and chive and onion to sweet treats like brown sugar cinnamon, cake batter, banana pudding, and cannoli.
- Beverages: A full lineup of hot and iced coffees—including lattes, cold brews, americanos, cappuccinos, and espresso—as well as hot chocolate and refreshing lemonades.
