Local coffee enthusiasts on the Treasure Coast no longer need to travel to the Midwest to try a wildly popular social media sensation. Two local establishments in Stuart have officially added a viral TikTok beverage to their menus, putting the Treasure Coast on a rapidly expanding global map for this trending drink.
The specialty beverage, known as the Raspberry Danish Latte, originates from Little Joy Coffee, a Minnesota-based cafe. The shop recently launched a video series titled DIY or Buy, which explores the cost and effort of making specialty coffees at home versus purchasing them. The series highlights the intricate process of crafting premium beverages, with cafe owner Cody Larson emphasizing that an exceptional latte requires much more than simply mixing espresso, milk, and sugar. Their signature drinks utilize carefully crafted homemade syrups, creams, and foams.
While the cafe calculated that making the drink at home costs approximately $2.46 compared to their $8 retail price, the complex preparation led the shop to make an unprecedented, community-focused move. Recognizing that fans worldwide could not easily visit Minnesota, shop manager and TikTok host Serena Walker openly invited independent coffee shops across the globe to take their recipe and serve it locally.
This innovative, open-source recipe initiative resulted in a global map featuring more than 300 coffee shops across 30 countries offering the exclusive Raspberry Danish Latte, bringing the viral trend directly to the Treasure Coast.

- The Googan Coffee Shop: Both of the establishment’s Stuart locations began serving the specialty latte on April 10.
- Rosalina’s Cafe and Bakery: This Stuart-based cafe also introduced the viral drink to its patrons in April.
