The vibrant arts scene in Vero Beach is set to receive a touch of winter magic this summer. Riverside Theatre has announced an exciting new youth production of Disney’s Frozen, promising an unforgettable immersive experience for families across the Treasure Coast. Running from June 18 through June 27, 2026, on the Waxlax Stage, this enchanting performance is brought to life by the talented young artists of Riverside Theatre Education.

Under the guidance of Riverside Theatre’s Director of Education, Kevin Quillinan, a cast of 28 local young performers has spent weeks perfecting their acting, singing, and choreography to tackle the beloved story of royal sisters Anna and Elsa.

“Frozen is a wonderful opportunity for our students to showcase their creativity, teamwork, and passion for performing. Audiences will be amazed by the talent and energy these young performers bring to the stage.”

What truly sets this Vero Beach production apart is its highly immersive set design and dining integration. The Waxlax Stage will be completely transformed into the grand banquet hall of Arendelle Castle. Instead of traditional theater seating, patrons will be seated family-style at long community tables, placing guests directly inside the magical world of Frozen.

To further elevate the local lifestyle experience, select performances will offer pre-show dining featuring a specially curated Royal Menu designed by Executive Chef Sue Torres. Served family-style, this unique theatrical dining event allows guests to enjoy a delicious meal alongside special pre-show entertainment before the main production begins.

In conjunction with the theatrical run, Riverside Theatre will also host Olaf’s Summer Bash on Wednesday, June 24. This family-friendly event takes over The Loop for a high-energy evening featuring music, dancing, frozen treats, kid-approved food, and interactive activities to celebrate the summer season in Indian River County.
