VeroBeachFL.news is the brainchild of Aleksandar “Sasha” Jovicic and Tony Lopez, two seasoned Florida media and digital marketing experts. As co-founders of Executive Digital, a leading South Florida digital marketing enterprise agency, they’ve spent over two decades building and innovating in the digital media space. Their journey includes extensive experience with building media giants like Gannett Corp (USA Today), Voice Media Group (Miami New Times/Phoenix New Times, etc) and more.

Sasha, who was recently honored with a 2025 Harvard Award for his innovations, leadership and contributions to the media, marketing and digital industries, and Tony, with two decades in the entertainment, digital and media spaces, share a deep commitment to local journalism. After years of working with national and regional platforms, they realized that the heartbeat of Florida’s communities deserved its own dedicated voice.

We built VeroBeachFL.news because we believe in hyper-local storytelling. Florida is our home, and it’s given us the opportunity to develop and grow numerous enterprises over the past 15 years. Now, we want to give something back by shining a spotlight on local news that’s too often overshadowed by national headlines.
