Prior to becoming a pub in 2017, the structure housed several popular nightlife spots, including Bombay Louie’s in 1995, Club Tonic around 2007, and Hearts of Vero in 2009.
David and Sheila Schweitzer, who relocated to Vero Beach from Kentucky in 2000, originally gutted the building down to the dirt to create a truly authentic pub environment named after their adult children. The couple ultimately sold the property and business through their company, Pub 2019 LLC, to Fort Lauderdale-based 14th Avenue Investors LLC for 1.3 million dollars in late 2025.
