Get ready for a hopping good time, Indian River County! One of the region’s most distinctive and beloved winter traditions is officially returning to the historic Old School Complex in downtown Fellsmere. The 35th Annual Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival is set to take over the town from Thursday, January 15, through Sunday, January 18, 2026, promising a weekend full of culinary adventure, family fun, and community spirit.

Known statewide for its unique menu and vibrant atmosphere, the festival draws thousands of visitors annually who are eager to sample the famous frog leg and gator tail dinners. Whether you are a long-time local or a curious visitor, this event offers a quintessential Florida experience that blends savory Southern sides with the excitement of a classic carnival.

A Feast for the Adventurous

The star of the show, of course, is the food. Attendees can enjoy the festival’s signature frog leg and gator tail dinners, served alongside classic Southern sides. For those who prefer to enjoy their meal at home, the popular drive-thru dinner option returns this year. Drive-thru service will be located at 21 South Cypress Street and operates on a cash-only basis.

Beyond the culinary attractions, the festival offers a robust schedule of entertainment. The grounds will feature live music throughout the weekend, a wide variety of craft and retail vendors, and midway games and carnival rides suitable for both children and adults.

The festival serves as an important fundraiser supporting the area community and youth programs. Sponsor support helps ensure the festival remains free to attend while continuing its mission of giving back to the Fellsmere community.

One of the best aspects of the Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival is its accessibility. Admission and parking are free for all four days of the event. The festivities will take place at the Old School Complex located at 22 South Orange Street, Fellsmere, FL 32948.
