The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Team was swiftly dispatched to Fort Pierce Central High School following reports of a bomb threat on the campus.
Acting immediately to ensure the safety of students and staff, law enforcement secured and evacuated the area surrounding the high school at approximately 1:00 p.m. While highly trained personnel conducted a thorough assessment and investigation of the grounds, the sheriff’s office urged residents to avoid the vicinity.
