The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office has released its felony arrest and booking reports for May 26, highlighting severe charges for two Vero Beach residents. Both individuals were processed at the county jail and are currently being held without bond.
Local law enforcement reported the arrest of 20-year-old Vero Beach resident Luz Liliana Herrera. Herrera faces a string of serious felony charges heavily involving weapons, theft, and narcotics.
The formal charges against Herrera include:
- Two counts of grand theft of a firearm
- Grand theft auto
- Grand theft of property valued between $750 and $5,000
- Possession of a controlled substance
- Use or display of a firearm during the commission of a felony
- Possession or use of drug paraphernalia
In a separate incident, 68-year-old Gregory Scott Orsini, residing in the 9000 block of 85th Street in Vero Beach, was also booked into the county facility. Orsini is facing multiple charges that range from property crimes to violent offenses.
The formal charges against Orsini include:
- Aggravated assault
- Battery
- Burglary of an occupied conveyance
- Grand theft auto
- Resisting an officer without violence
- Grand theft
- Criminal mischief for damages of $200 and under
