Vero Beach Firefighters’ Fair Returns with Rides, Rodeos, Bellamy Brothers

The Indian River County Firefighters’ Fair is set to return to Vero Beach, bringing ten days of adrenaline-pumping rides, classic fair food, and live entertainment to the Treasure Coast. Running from Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 22, this annual tradition at the Indian River County Fairgrounds promises a robust schedule of events ranging from country music legends to demolition derbies.

The scent of cotton candy and the sound of demolition derbies is in the air once again as the Indian River County Firefighters’ Fair revs up for an action-packed celebration of thrills.

Admission and Ticketing Details
For families planning their visit to the fairgrounds located at 7955 58th Ave in Vero Beach, advance online admission is available.

  • General Admission: $10 per person for ages 6 to 12.
  • Young Children: Free for kids age 5 and younger.
  • Power Pass: Available for $40, this includes one entry to the fair and one unlimited ride wristband.

Headlining Entertainment: The Bellamy Brothers
Country music fans are in for a treat on the Main Stage. The legendary Bellamy Brothers, known for iconic hits like “Let Your Love Flow,” will perform an intimate concert on Saturday, March 14 at 7:00 pm. Tickets for this concert start at $25.

The night will also feature strong local talent supporting the headliners:

  • James Holler: A Sebastian native and singer-songwriter, Holler brings a mix of ’90s and early-2000s country style to the stage from 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm.
  • Carl Owens & Whiskey Trip: Fronted by Fort Pierce-raised Carl Owens, this high-energy honky-tonk band will perform from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm.

Major Arena Events
Two of the fair’s most anticipated events will take place in the arena and pavilion areas:

  • Demolition Derby: Scheduled for Sunday, March 15 at 7:30 pm in the northwest corner of the fairgrounds. Drivers will compete for a $1,000 prize in various vehicle classes. Admission to the derby is $5 per person.
  • Bull Bash Rodeo: Taking place on the final day, Sunday, March 22, at the Livestock Pavilion. Gates open at 2:00 pm with the show starting at 4:00 pm. The event features bull riding, calf roping, and barrel racing. General admission is $10, with VIP tickets available for $50.

Beyond the rides and food trucks, the fair offers a variety of recurring shows included with admission throughout the ten-day run:

The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show
For over 28 years, this show has entertained crowds with historical humor and skills. Attendees can watch log-rolling, axe-throwing, and speed-sawing competitions.

Scales, Tails, and Teeth
Jimmy Riffle, star of Animal Planet’s Gator Boys, brings his conservation-focused roadshow to Vero Beach. The show features alligators, snakes, and exotic reptiles in an educational and thrilling format.

Firefighter Training Show
A crowd favorite for families, this interactive show invites children to suit up as “trainee firefighters.” Participants engage in hands-on drills that teach fire safety and heroism in a fun, safe environment.

Cowboy Circus
Danny Grant’s “Comedy Rodeo Experience” blends bull riding, barrel racing, and roping stunts with quick-witted humor, making it a perfect interactive show for all ages.

TJ Hill Magician
Voted Magician of the Year in 2016, TJ Hill will be roaming the grounds performing high-energy illusions and comedy magic for fairgoers.
