Vero Beach is buzzing with excitement as the Vero Beach High School Fighting Indians football team prepares for its highly anticipated state championship game this Saturday, December 13th. In a show of immense community support, fan buses are being organized to transport supporters to Miami to cheer on their beloved team. This marks a significant moment for the program, as it’s the Fighting Indians’ first appearance in a state championship game since 1981.

The decisive match against the Lake Mary High School Rams is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 13th, at FIU’s South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium in Miami. Anticipation is high following the team’s thrilling double-overtime semifinal victory on December 5th against Miami Palmetto, played on Billy Livings Field at the Citrus Bowl.

For those eager to join the caravan of support, Magic Carpet Ride is offering roundtrip fan buses from Vero Beach to Miami. As of Tuesday afternoon, roughly 40 seats had already been reserved, with three 56-seat buses prepared to accommodate the growing number of fans.

To facilitate community attendance at this landmark event, fan buses organized by Magic Carpet Ride will depart from the Indian River Mall on State Road 60 at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 13th, with boarding beginning an hour prior.

Here’s what you need to know to secure your spot and join the “Vero Nation” in Miami:
* Bus Tickets: Roundtrip fan bus tickets are available for $75 per person. This cost covers transportation only and does not include admission to the game.
* Game Tickets: Game tickets must be purchased separately. They are priced at $17 in advance through GoFan.co, an online high school sports ticketing platform, or $20 on game day.
* Reservations: To reserve a seat on one of the fan buses, contact Magic Carpet Ride directly at 772-404-2052 or email motorcoach@mcrvero.net. Payment for bus tickets must be made in advance using cash or check only. Callers will be asked to provide their name and the number of tickets required, followed by payment information.
* Departure Details: Buses will begin loading at 2 p.m. on December 13th, with a scheduled departure time of 3 p.m. from the Indian River Mall, located on State Road 60.

While the fan bus initiative is not officially affiliated with the Indian River County School District or Vero Beach High School, the football team and boosters have been actively promoting these trips across social media platforms, encouraging the community to rally behind their team. The sentiment of gratitude and excitement is palpable, with the Vero Beach High Football Fans’ Facebook page proclaiming, “Thank you for your support, Vero Nation! See you in the 305!” This championship game represents not just a sporting event, but a significant moment of pride and unity for the Vero Beach community.
