Vero Beach Police Seek Missing Brian Flynn Near Walmart Woods

VERO BEACH, FL – Local authorities are turning to the public for urgent assistance in locating a man who has been missing for several months and is believed to be living in the Vero Beach area. The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office (IRCSO) has released details regarding 50-year-old Brian Flynn, urging residents to stay vigilant.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Flynn has been out of contact with family and friends since late June. His last known communication was a text message sent on June 27. However, a more recent timeline has emerged involving local emergency services. Investigators confirmed that Indian River County Fire Rescue made contact with Flynn on July 4. Following that interaction, he was transported to the Indian River Cleveland Clinic Hospital for treatment and was released later that same day.

Physical Description and Last Known Location

Deputies believe Flynn may be homeless and residing in the wooded areas surrounding the Walmart Supercenter located on State Road 60. At the time of his release from the hospital, his direction of travel and clothing were not documented.

Brian Flynn is described as follows:
