The Democrats of Indian River are hosting their very first Vero’s Premiere Cosplay Fundraising Party, an exciting Halloween extravaganza promising an evening of food, fun, and fantastical costumes. This unique event, set to take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 6 pm to 10 pm, offers a splendid opportunity for community members to gather, celebrate the spooky season, and support a local cause.
The inaugural Halloween bash will be held at their new office, located at 2706 20th Street, Vero Beach, 32960, conveniently situated on the corner of Route 60 and 20th Avenue in the distinctive blue building. Guests are highly encouraged to unleash their creativity and arrive in their most imaginative cosplay or Halloween costumes, as the highlight of the night will be a thrilling Costume Contest at 9 pm. Prizes await those who impress with the most creative, scariest, most glamorous, and best traditional costumes.
This isn’t just a party; it’s a chance to immerse yourself in the spirit of Halloween while contributing to the important work of the Democrats of Indian River. With a delicious spread and fantastic entertainment, it’s an event not to be missed in Vero Beach.
Attendees can look forward to a delectable spread of food, with meal service running from 6 pm to 9 pm, featuring classic burgers, hot dogs, and a variety of appetizing fixings. For those of age, a selection of beer, wine, and mixed drinks will be available with a valid ID. Beyond the culinary delights, the evening promises lively music, engaging activities, and multiple Halloween raffle prizes that attendees must be present to win. And for those with a sweet tooth, a generous candy buffet will be available to complete the festive experience.
To ensure ample provisions for all guests, the organizers are strongly encouraging advance ticket purchases. For those who prefer traditional methods, tickets can also be purchased in person or via mail by sending a check to c/o Club Secretary – Democrats of IR, 2706 27th Avenue, 32960, being sure to specify the desired package. All online and mailed payment orders will be available for pick-up between 10 am and 3 pm, Monday through Thursday, at the office one week prior to the party, or at the will-call tables on the night of the event. Limited cash and Square card admission will also be available at the door.
The safety and convenience of all guests are a top priority. A dedicated safety team will be on site, and attendees are advised to plan for transportation by designating a driver, utilizing ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft, or carpooling. A specific passenger drop-off point will be located at the corner of 28th Street and Route 60, directly behind the Raymond James building, with a safety guard available to assist individuals with disabilities. Parking options include 28th Avenue, the Mid-Florida Bank Parking Lot on 28th Avenue, or the Christian Church located across Route 60 from the office. Please note that parking at the church requires safely utilizing the crosswalk to traverse Route 60.
