Vero Beach residents seeking an evening of laughter and entertainment have a major reason to celebrate this summer. Riverside Theatre, under the guidance of Executive Producer and CEO Jon R. Moses, has officially announced the return of its highly popular live stand-up series, The Comedy Zone.
The Comedy Zone returns to Riverside Theatre’s Waxlax Stage in Vero Beach, featuring a revised weekend schedule, full food and beverage service, and a diverse lineup of nationally touring comedians.
The renowned live comedy series will resume performances beginning the first weekend of June with an updated schedule designed to offer audiences more flexibility. Moving forward, shows will take place on Fridays at 7:00 p.m., and on Saturdays with two viewing options at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. All performances will be held on the intimate Waxlax Stage.
To complement the cabaret-style seating and lively atmosphere, guests can enjoy a complete evening out by taking advantage of the venue’s dining options. The Loop Kitchen and Bar will open to serve meals starting one hour prior to each scheduled performance, making it easier for patrons to pair indoor dining with their entertainment.
The June schedule features an exciting roster of national talent ready to bring side-splitting humor to the Treasure Coast:
- June 5 & 6: Jake Klark, known for his high-energy stories about marriage and growing up, and Ginger Kelly, who shares dynamic tales of growing up Italian in New Jersey, single parenthood, and dating after fifty.
- June 12 & 13: Jenn Weeks, a charismatic creator and host in the Florida comedy scene, alongside Bob Rayhart, a cynical yet charming comedian and film producer who humorously critiques the daily grind.
- June 18 & 19: Casey Peruski, a 17-year comedy veteran and popular local show producer, teaming up with Jim Moran, a former teacher whose emotional and high-energy sets tackle everything from large families to road rage.
- June 26 & 27: CeeJay Jones, famous for his rapid-fire delivery and outrageous stage presence, paired with Cristy B., who brings bold, relatable humor that hits home for all audiences.
The theater has also confirmed ongoing dates for the remainder of the year, ensuring steady nightlife programming through the summer and early fall, including special performances on July 2 and 3 dedicated to celebrating local veterans.
