A Vero Beach man recently entered a plea agreement related to charges stemming from arrests approximately seven years ago in Indian River County. Robert Fishman, who was 24 at the time of his initial arrests, pleaded guilty to multiple counts as part of a court resolution.

According to court documents and reports from Treasure Coast Newspapers, Fishman was first arrested in November 2017. At that time, he faced charges of resisting an officer without violence and disorderly conduct. Just two months later, in January 2018, he was arrested again in connection with an incident involving an Indian River County business, facing additional charges of disorderly conduct and exposure of sexual organs.

Robert Fishman, a Vero Beach resident, recently pleaded guilty to two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of resisting an officer without violence as part of a plea agreement accepted by Judge David Morgan. The charge of exposure of sexual organs was dropped, and Fishman was sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for time served.

In the recent plea agreement, Fishman admitted guilt to two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of resisting an officer without violence. Notably, the state opted to drop the charge of exposure of sexual organs as part of the agreement. The plea terms were accepted by Judge David Morgan, who subsequently sentenced Fishman to 60 days in jail. He received credit for time already served, which is a standard practice that accounts for any period an individual has spent in custody awaiting trial or resolution of their case. This development brings closure to a legal matter that has been ongoing for several years within the Indian River County judicial system.
