Coffee enthusiasts on the Treasure Coast have an exciting new drive-thru destination to look forward to. The highly popular beverage chain, Dutch Bros Coffee, has officially announced plans to open its very first location in Fort Pierce in early 2027.

The upcoming coffee shop will be situated at 2050 S. U.S. Highway 1, marking a significant expansion for the rapidly growing brand into the local market. According to the company’s recent announcement, this new Fort Pierce development will serve as their 43rd location within the state of Florida, but only their third outpost on the state’s east coast.

Known for its strong emphasis on convenient, drive-thru service, the establishment promises a wide array of customizable, made-to-order beverages. Local patrons can expect a diverse menu that features:

  • Specialty coffees and rich cold brews
  • Teas, blended smoothies, and signature freezes
  • Refreshing lemonades
  • Exclusive energy drinks, specifically the Dutch Bros Rebel and the Myst Energy Refresher

Founded in 1992 in Grants Pass, Oregon, by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma, the company began with just a single double-head espresso machine and has since expanded to 1,225 locations nationwide as of mid-year.

As the early 2027 opening target approaches, Treasure Coast residents can anticipate a fresh, fast-paced option for their morning commutes and afternoon pick-me-ups right along the busy U.S. Highway 1 corridor.
