Whether highlighting our famous baseball spring training history or serving as a quirky punchline, the region has certainly caught the attention of television writers.
For residents of Vero Beach, two iconic sitcoms have explicitly named our coastal haven. In the legendary comedy The Office, during the season six episode titled “The Cover-Up,” Michael Scott and his girlfriend Donna are brainstorming vacation destinations. When Donna suggests a trip to our hometown, it leads to a memorable exchange that highlights Michael’s signature cluelessness.
